【摘要】:ThisPartoftheCodedealswiththedesignandconstructionoffoundationsforreciprocatingmachinerywhichnormallyrotatesinthelow(upto5Hz)andmedium(5Hzto25Hz)frequencyranges,andisofasizeforwhicharigidblocktypefoundationisnormallyused.Guidanceisgivenontheinformationanddatatobeassembledandthestepstobetakeninordertorealizebothasatisfactorydesignandanadequatecontroloftheconstructionworkonsite.Therecommendationsaregenerallyapplicableonlytothedesignoffoundationsasanundampedsinglemassspringsystem.Itshouldberealizedthatthereareconditionswhendampingneedstobeconsidered.Referemcesareincludedonthecharacteristicsanduseofresilientmountingsbutincaseswherethesedevicesaretobeemployedthedesignershouldjudgewhethertheconditionswillpermitanassumptionthatthesoilisrigidorwhetherthedesignshouldbebasedonamultiple-meaaspringsystem.Recommendationsareincludedfortheresponsibilitiesofthepurchaser,themachinemanufacturer,themaincomtractor,theconsultingengineer,thecivilorstructuralenginer,whoarejointlyresponsibleforthedesignandconstructionofthefoundation.
