【摘要】:ThisPASspecifiesrequirementsforthedesignation,testing,factoryproductioncontrol,installationdocumentationandmarkingfordifferenttypesandconfigurationsoffloodprotectionproductsintendedfortemporaryinstallation,foruseawayfrombuildingsbutmaybesealedagainststructuresorbuildingsatsectionends,intheUKorlocationswithsimilarexposures,i.e.wherethereisatemperateclimateandadvancewarningoffloodingisavailable.ThisPASspecifiesthemethodoftestingandanallowableleakagerate.NOTE1ThePAStestconditionsrepresenttypicalconditionsthatmaybeexperiencedduringaflood.Thisincludestestingthefloodprotectionproductonaconcretebaseforleakageandstructuralfailureunderstaticwaterlevels,randomwavesupto0.1mhighandparallelcurrentsupto1.0m/s.NOTE2ThisPASdoesnotcovertestingwithpollutedorsalinewater,however,productmanufacturersarerequiredtoprovideinformationabouttheperformanceoftheirproductsintheseconditions(seeAnnexC).NOTE3Conformanceofthefloodprotectionproductdoesnotmeanitissuitableforalllocations,exposuresandfoundationtypes.Iftheuserisinanydoubtastothesuitabilityofafloodprotectionproducttoanyspecificlocation,theyshouldseekfurtherguidanceassetoutinTemporaryanddemountablefloodprotection:Interimguidanceonuse[1]orfromtheFloodProtectionAssociation(www.floodprotectionassociation.org)orotherprofessionaladvisers.NOTE4Extremeloadingconditions,suchasthoseresultingfromturbulentwaterorfromdebrisimpact,arenotcoveredbytestinginthisPAS.Intheselocationsthefloodprotectionproductshouldbespecificallydesignedand/ortestedtowithstandsuchstresses.NOTE5Temporaryfloodprotectionproductsarenormallyinstalledinconjunctionwithapumpingarrangementtoremoveanyexcessiveleakage.NOTE6ThefloodprotectionproductsdescribedinthispartofPAS1188arenotintendedforpermanentinstallation,andattentionisdrawntotheneedtoensureasafeevacuationofpersonsintheeventofanemergencyandtoaccessandegressforpersonswithimpairedmovement.Thesefloodprotectionproductsshouldonlybeinstalledintheeventofanimminentfloodandshouldberemovedassoonasdangerfromfloodingisover.ThisPASisnotapplicabletofloodprotectionproductsforinstallationacrossbuildingaperturessuchasindividualdoors,windows,airbricksandairventsoraroundbuildings;thesearecoveredbyPAS1188-1andPAS1188-3.ThisPASisnotapplicabletodemountablefloodprotectionproductswhicharedesignedtobepartofapermanentdefencesolutionandarecoveredbyPAS1188-4.ThisPASdoesnotspecificallytestfloodprotectionproductsforcoastalconditions.Wherefloodprotectionproductsareintendedforcoastalconditions,adviceonsuitabilityshouldbeobtainedfromthemanufacturer.
