【摘要】:Thereliabilityoftheresultsofanytestmethoddependprimarilyuponhowwellthespecimenstestedrepresenttheoriginalsourcematerial.Muchtimeandeffortarerequired,andcanjustifiablybespent,tobesurethatallthesamplingoperationsareatrandomandarerepresentative.Failuretoprovideatestspecimenwhichaccuratelyrepresentsthematerialfromwhichitisdrawnwillproducemisleadingtestresultsregardlessoftheaccuracyandprecisionofthetestmethod.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortakingalotsample,atthesource,ofcottonfibersandreducingthissamplethroughaseriesofstepstoprovidearelativelysmalltestspecimenofloosecottonfibers,representativeofthesourcematerialandsuitableforthedeterminationofasingleproperty,oraseriesoffiberproperties,accordingtoestablishedprocedures.1.2Thispracticehasbeenusedextensivelyforcommercialacceptancetestingofcottonfibersaswellasforarbitrationtestingandresearch.1.3Theproceduresdonotcovertheselectionofsamplesforthedeterminationofmoisture.Specialhandlingandprotectionofthesamplefromtheprevailingatmosphererequiredforsamplestakenforthedeterminationofmoisturearenotprovidedforinthispractice.SeeTestMethodD2495.Note1ThispracticeisusedintakingsamplesofcottonfortestingbyTestMethodsD1440,D1442,D1445,D1447,D1448,D1464,D2480,D2496,andD2812.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasureareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisdocumentprovidesguidancerelatingtotheconstructionofProtectionProfiles(PPs)andSecurityTargets(STs)thatareintendedtobecompliantwithISO/IEC15408(the‘CommonCriteria’).Assuch,thedocumentisprimarilyaimedatthosewhoareinvolvedinthedevelopmentofPPsandSTs.However,itisalsolikelytobeusefultoevaluatorsofPPsandSTsandtothosewhoareresponsibleformonitoringPPandSTevaluation.ItmayalsobeofinteresttoconsumersandusersofPPsandSTswhowishtounderstandwhatguidancethePP/STauthorused,andwhichpartsofthePPorSTareofprincipalinterest.ItisassumedthatreadersofthisTechnicalReportarefamiliarwithISO/IEC15408-1,andinparticularAnnexesBandCwhichdescribePPsandSTs.PPandSTauthorswill(ofcourse)needtobecomefamiliarwiththeotherpartsofISO/IEC15408asdescribedinthisReport,includingintroductorymaterialsuchasthefunctionalrequirementsparadigmdescribedinISO/IEC15408-2,1.3.ThisdocumentisaninformationalISOTechnicalReportintendedforguidanceonly.ItshouldnotbecitedasaStandardonthecontentorstructurefortheevaluationofPPsandSTs.ItisintendedtobefullyconsistentwithISO/IEC15408;however,intheeventofanyinconsistencybetweenthisTechnicalReportandISO/IEC15408,thelatterasanormativeStandardtakesprecedence.ThisTechnicalReportdoesnotdealwithissuessuchasPPregistrationandassociatedtaskssuchasthehandlingofprotectedintellectualproperty(e.g.patents)inaPP.ForinformationonPPregistrationprocedures,see[1].
